The Mortal Intstruments: City of Bones
The three predictions that I have about this book is that I think that Clary might be an important part of the world she just discovered.
I also think that she might be a Shadowhunter like the people she saw murdering someone.
I also think that she could be a vampire or werewolves, she might be related to on as well.

"when they returned to Himmel street that day, Liesel was playing hopscotch with some of the younger kids, still in her BDM uniform." pg. 270
"On each previous occasion, when they found the window clamped firmly shut, Liesle's outer disappointment had masked a ferocious relief. Would she have had the neck to go in? And who and what, in fact, was she going in for? For Rudy? To locate some food? No, the repugnant truth was this:
She didn't care about the food. Rudy, no matter how hard she tried to resist the idea, was secondary to her plan. It was the book she wanted. The Whistler." pg.287
"During that week, Max had cut out a collection of pages from Mein Kampf and painted over them in white. He hung them up with pegs on some string, from one end of the basement to the other."pg.223
